Biography
Connor Fitzmaurice is a doctoral student in the Department of Sociology at Boston University and holds a B.A. in Sociology from Boston College. Connor is serving as a research assistant for Juliet Schor as part of the MacArthur Foundation’s Connected Learning Research Network and is currently studying barter exchanges at food swaps. Connor’s research interests are in economic sociology and the sociology of culture, with an empirical focus on the creation of alternative food economies.
