Denise Sauerteig is a Research Social Scientist at SRI International’s Center for Technology in Learning.
Denise conducts program evaluation and research on informal science education initiatives, science teacher professional development programs, and connected learning. She has a background in international education, having previously worked with formal education programs across Latin America as well as evaluating formal and informal learning programs in the same region. Additionally, she has worked in bicycle advocacy and on public art interventions around the San Francisco Bay Area.
Denise’s work has been supported by grants from the National Science Foundation, the Department of Education, the Intel Foundation, the Ford Foundation, the Skoll Foundation, and other funders.
