Biography

Edilberto Cano is originally from Veracruz, México; he taught for seven years in Veracruz and taught in bilingual and dual language classrooms for five years in Salem, Oregon. He also served as a Bilingual Coordinator for the Woodburn School District and as English Language Specialist at Salem-Keizer School District. He holds an Ed. M. form Oregon State University and his administrative licensure from Portland State University. Currently, he is a third year doctoral student at the University of Colorado, Boulder involved in the research of the Biliteracy development of simultaneous bilingual students.
