Biography

Jennifer Noble is a doctoral student in the School of Information at the University of Texas. Her interests include youth engagement with digital media, gaming as a means of STEM education, gender and race issues in technology, public libraries as informal learning spaces, and social informatics. Her prior experience as a children’s librarian in South Central Los Angeles has helped shape her current program of study as well as her previous graduate work in usability and information architecture. Jennifer is a proud alumna of the University of Southern California where she fell in love with the history and people of Los Angeles. An avid music fan, she’s often found in the various concert venues around Austin, camera in tow.
