University of Oxford

Biography

Paige Mustain is a DPhil (PhD) Candidate at the Oxford Internet Institute, University of Oxford. Interested in issues of digital inequalities more broadly, her dissertation looks at the political economy of information and communication technology (ICT) development initiatives in the realm of education. Her work is supervised by Dr. Rebecca Eynon and Dr. Eric Meyer.

Paige is also a research assistant for Oxford’s Go_Girl: code+create project where she is teaching young women programming skills contributing to the wider goal of increasing women participation in STEM. Parenting for a digital future intersects Paige’s more general research interests regarding youth and digital technologies. It provides a unique and valuable opportunity to include parent voices, which are often unaccounted for in these contexts.
