Ugochi Acholonu earned her PhD in Learning Sciences and Technology Design at Stanford University in 2012. She received a MS in Computer Science with a specialty in Human Computer Interaction in 2005, and a BS in Electrical Engineering in 2003. Both degrees were also earned at Stanford University. Her research interests include understanding the development of adaptive technical expertise in youth, curricularm positioning and its impact on student learning, and digital inequality. She is currently a Postdoctoral Scholar working with Prof. Katie Salen at the Quest to Learn school in Chicago.
